The Legal Advice Clinic is an initiative by the Law Society of Brunei Darussalam that provides free, confidential and practical legal guidance to members of the public who are unable to afford legal representation.
It forms part of the Law Society’s commitment to ensuring equal access to justice for all.
We are here to help you better understand your situation and take the next step with confidence.
WHO CAN APPLY
- Are not currently represented by a lawyer;
- Have a monthly income of BND 1,500.00 or below;
- Are able to provide a copy of your identity card and proof of your income or financial status.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
- A short consultation with a volunteer lawyer;
- General legal guidance based on your situation;
- An explanation of your rights and possible next steps.

HOW TO APPLY
- Submit your application through the online form.
- Your application will be reviewed for eligibility.
- If accepted, you will be contacted with the date, time and venue of the clinic.
